I have been working on a Youth Employment project, that was funded and implemented by the (ILO) International Labor Organization to create employment opportunities for people in the Pacific especially in countries that had a increased unemployment as they were (5) countries in the pacific that had sent Trainers to attend a Training of Trainers and they were as follows Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Samoa, Kiribati and Papua New Guinea and after the TOT we had been given a task to implement this project in our own countries and using the Small Business Development Corporation's Start Improve Your Business Manuals, and its follow up Interventions which have been very effective and as this program was trialed or launched here in PNG in 2009 as I have a trained more then a 100 youths in rural and urban areas of PNG and have almost a quarter of the 100 are into formal and Informal business and a few are almost becoming tycoons and I am very proud to help young people to be self reliance and live a sustainable living through self employment.
